Join Dads Inc. in inducting the Fatherhood Hall of Fame Class of 2009:
Hon. Mitch Daniels (Indianapolis) 49th Governor of the State of Indiana This distinctive honor is given to those fathers who are chosen based on their work with, commitment to, and example of positive fathering and/or male role models to their own children and to those in their communities. The Fatherhood Hall of Fame was created by Dads Inc. in 2007 as a vehicle for raising awareness about the importance of active and involved fathering and male role models. Past inductees include Tony Dungy, Evan Bayh, Tony Wallace, Max Siegel, Boniface Hardin, Robert Koch II, and Ian Rolland. The recipients will be inducted & receive their award at the 3rd annual Fatherhood Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, which will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Eugene B. Glick Junior Achievement Education Center. The Central Indiana Father of the Year award, the Dads Inc. Volunteer of the Year Award, and the Forrest & Charlotte Lucas Impact Award recipients will also be honored that evening. This dinner is the signature fundraising event for Dads Inc., and it also includes a live and silent auction. Several opportunities for corporate sponsorship are still available.
